Image 1 - Tiger

I love taking photographs of animals and wildlife as it is always very challenging to get a good shot. You require a lot of patience and time however the results tend to make it all worth while. I dont get much chance to go on safari and so I make the most of the local Zoos. My favourite at the moment is Marwell where most of these shots were taken

Image 2 - Tiger Feet

These tigers were BIG!!! What lovely animals these big cats are. I was pleased to see that they all had large cages and that the zoo spend a lot of time making sure their environment is as close to the real thing as possible. To prevent boredom, they have special ways of feeding the animals which means that they have to "sing for their supper".

Image 3 - Snow Leopard

These snow leopards were fascinating creatures to. They were very playful when we saw them (it was probably ideal weather as it was very cold that day) and so there was lots of potential for a good shot.

Image 7 - Monkees

This was a grab shot and it is slightly out of focus. still it shows how lively these little beats are.

Image 8 - Lemur

On our second vist, most of the lemurs were not on display and those that were sheltered in the recesses of their enclosure

A rare moment - a lemur at rest
