The first time I went to Bluewater, I was amazed at its size and the amount of thought and expense that had gone into the design of the building and the art and decoration therein. Bluewater was built in an abandoned quarry and the ethos behind it appears to have been to recreate a city centre under cover. The building comes complete with shops, cinemas, restaurants, rest areas etc etc. In fact the only thing thats missing are residents!
I decided that on my next trip to Bluewater, I would take my camera and have some fun (and retail therapy). The following shots are some of the images I took in B&W of the decoration and styling within the building.
