Last year, we found a set of 6 glass slides at a local antique fair. Being a collector of old pictures and albums, I bought them at a good price.
The six slides are of the Loch Tummel area in Scotland and seem to chart the progress of the river into the Loch. The slides are unfortunately beginning to show their age and have started to fade in the shadow areas. I scanned the slides and have applied a minnimum of retouching to get some contrast and detail in the shadow areas. There also appears to be some mould ingress and so I will have to take them apart soon and clean them up.
Although the slides are not numbered, I have put them into rough order based on my knowledge of the area and a map. Click on the icon below to see the images.
